Cartoon Bean Photo Album

Kind of reminds me of the Firefly Funhouse...  

 

 Based off of Picasso's Guernica.

I made this after I hurt my back doing squats and had to quit lifting.  My back eventually got better, but then my digestive system messed up.  I enjoyed it while it lasted though.

When I was growing up I had a poster of a baby chick hatching on my door that my parents put up there.  So I made this picture to remind me of it.

 

 

 

 I worked in a grain elevator for a short time in my life.  Only about two months.  I already posted one picture as a reminder of that experience, but here are two more:

 Love this movie.  Mostly because it was the Mystery Science Theater 3000 movie.

 

  Not sure why I chose that title for this work way back in the day, but oh well.

Had to make a slight reference to A Talking Cat!?! there.  But yeah, 20 years ago I used to lift weights a lot, and I still miss it.  But parts of my body kept falling apart over time and so now all of that's a distant memory.  So I would often draw these silly pictures of beans lifting weights because I was just as silly then as I am today I guess.  Deadlift was my best lift, so I have quite a few deadlift pictures.

 

This was inspired by what was once the last episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000.  The movie featured was Danger: Diabolik, and during one secret spy scene Mike Nelson riffed, "I'll take a picture using the LARGEST CAMERA IN THE WORLD!"

Would be nice to see a giant bean in a giant monster movie... I call the character Boomo now, but I used to call him Beano.

When I worked at a grain elevator, there was a procedure with the trains that carried grain called kicking out.  I can't remember anything about it more than that.  But here's a picture of a bean working at a grain elevator.
